Free Comic Book Day 2026

If you have ever wanted to get into comic books, you may want to pay attention!

This upcoming May holds one of the most celebrated day in the comic book industry. Many comic book stores participate in Free Comic Book Day to provide free copies of comic books to anyone who is interested. This not only serves as a way to introduce new fans to the comic book space, but also as a way to recognize the avid readers, hardworking artists and writers, and the publishers who make it all happen.

While the comic books are free, they aren’t a joke! Many publishers will tease upcoming series or showcase some of their projects. This is a great way to introduce yourself to new stories no matter if you are new to the hobby or a serious collector.

Coarse Ground Comics is delighted to announce that they will be participating in Free Comic Book Day and will hold a lot of titles that can be picked up for free from our website. You can either pick the comics up locally if you are in the Maricopa, Arizona area or you can pay the shipping and have them mailed to you!
